Writing this one for the record because it was just a mindfuck that’s never happened and probably will never happen again. The universe threw me a freebie and god damn was it a freebie.
So I had just arrived at a large city in China and was walking around the downtown pedestrian area, looking for hot girls basically.
Was feeling a little disillusioned because I’d been really hitting the gas approaching those past few days to try and front-load some leads given my time there was short. I’d gotten a lot of numbers (and a lot of rejections), but all very flaky and only one lay so far with a slutty 18yo tattooed girl who I had approached my last time there.
(I did end up with 3 lays in 10 days, 2 of which were quality, so it wasn’t bad in hindsight)
So it was around 6pm and I was just walking and sipping on a milk tea, when suddenly I felt a tap on my arm. I turned around and looked down to see a shy, beaming face looking up at me.
This girl was small, but my god was she cute. Like, literally exactly the type of girl I wanted to lay here. Think K-Pop star face with big eyes, a small waist and big natural breasts.

Now, being a decent-looking foreigner in this country, I’m used to getting compliments left and right.
Unfortunately this appears to have no bearing on whether it actually leads to sex. Often these flirty girls get nervous and withdraw when I make physical compliance tests, and I find that they’re no more likely to go home with me than girls who don’t compliment at all (if anything they are less likely to).
I suspected this might be the case as well. However, this was also the first time in recent memory that a girl had actually come up and approached me like this so I decided to roll with it.
Her friend came over, who was slightly taller and older than her and very loud, expressive and extroverted. I noted how they make a great match, being total opposite personalities.
It turned out it was actually the friend who encouraged her to go approach me.
The girl was quiet, so I chatted mainly with the friend who spoke on the girl’s behalf. I could see already that the key to getting her would be winning her friend’s approval.
I learned that the girl is a local, but her friend is just visiting town for a day. The girl just finished high school and works in a tea shop. She has very little free time, and this was a rare day off for her.
A bit of banter. I touched her on the shoulder at a high point, which initially made her flinch. Then we added contacts, I suggested we get together another time, and left it at that.
I came back to the same spot and met with her and her friend, then we all went for milk tea together (which she paid for).
I wasn’t really expecting this to lead anywhere productive given she was with a friend who had come to the city specifically to visit her, but I also knew that even if I didn’t get the lay, it would make an interesting reference point nonetheless.
Talked about hobbies, their personalities, how they met, the city, the food, and told her a bit about my country and my lifestyle, etc. I just kept the vibe warm and friendly, ensuring to include her friend in the conversation too. In fact, 80% of it was me and the friend talking. The girl stayed pretty quiet, though I threw out teases here and there and used those high points to touch her. Initially she was jumpy about it, but gradually she got used to my touch and strong eye contact.
After 30 or so minutes, I suggested we go for a walk along the river. I had no idea where I was gonna take this, my instinct just told me to keep leading leading leading it forward and let things fall into place. And that was basically what happened.
Her friend (who is clearly quite promiscuous and also an influential figure for the girl), was largely the reason I was even able to pull this off. Soon the girl and I were walking arm in arm, then sitting on the bench I had my arm wrapped around her, and it was clear we both wanted to take this further. Her friend got the hint. While I was gently arousing the girl breathing on her neck and lightly stroking her hair, her friend was already on a dating app looking for a guy to hook up with.
She found one.
Cue us sitting by the river for two hours until 11pm waiting for her hookup guy to show up so that we can each split to a hotel. The scoundrel kept texting her “I’m on the way” and “I’m just a kilometre away” and never fucking showed up (the friend was not particularly attractive, so I guess he was keeping her as a backup option).
Now things got a bit hairy. Her friend, feeling resentful and rejected by the unreliable app guy, told my target that they were going to get a hotel together tonight, to the dismay of my target who wanted to spend the night with me. I stepped in and tried to persuade the friend to let me borrow her just to watch a movie together, saying we just wanted to spend a little quality time together alone, but she just kinda ignored me and focused on her phone.
Target wanted me to come with them, so we went to their hotel (which was literally across the street from my place), they checked in, and we went to their room. We were still waiting for this app guy, who was apparently going to come straight to their hotel. When he arrived, I’d be able to take target. But we had to wait for him first, because they didn’t know if he was going to turn out to be a psycho.
Target suggested I get a room at the hotel next to this one so that we can be close to her friend in case the guy comes. This was actually a nice move on her part. It reframed the problem as being about concern for her friend’s safety instead of her friend cockblocking us for feeling rejected (subconscious girl game?)
Her friend responded more positively to this idea. I saw that this was one of those “chick logic” compromises I would have to agree to if I wanted this to work, so I got a room next door (luckily it was a $15 hotel).
Got the room, the girl came, and we finally slept together. Some LMR, but nothing unsurmountable. Her body was really nice, but honestly the sex was meh. She was tight and it wasn’t so comfortable for her, and she was really shy and difficult to arouse (she said she hadn’t dated in 6 months). I wanted the best odds to convert her though, so I took her back to my place and we spent the night together and banged again in the morning.
My conclusion is she was a sexually inexperienced but easily impressionable girl who was encouraged by her friend to go forward quickly with me. Despite having a great body, she dresses quite conservatively. She also works almost every day and has very little free time, so she may be one of those girls who isn’t aware of her own SMV, and she felt time pressure to “lock things in” with me quickly.
