Ok, so I walking through my local mall when I saw a woman with another person and a child. I stopped them and said,
"Excuse, me is this y'all kid?"
They replied yes so I continued, saying something to the effect of
"Yeah, I just wanted to say hello, I thought she looked interesting, so I wanted to learn more about what I'm looking at". Directing my attention to the woman I was interested in.
I asked for her name and she told me her name and she then said "I'm in a relationship" which is an excuse I hear pretty much every time.
Usually I walk away after hearing this excuse but lately I've decided to start challenging it because I'm sick and tired of hearing it.
I replied "Hey, when your partner's the problem, I can be the solution."
She laughed and then asked me what my name was. I told her and then she said "It was nice to meet you"
I said "we should meet again"
She said "maybe"
I was like "Lemme get your number"
She declined
