I understand this mindset for someone you met in daygame, but for nightgame I feel that it makes the most sense to have the girl stay over at the end of the night.

For example, if you get back to your place around 2am and shag, it would be rude to have her leave your place at 3am. Rather, I would prefer to have her leave in the morning. Then after that, if you want to keep it casual, don't have her stay the night again.

While there are generally rules, I believe that it's not a specific action but your behaviour around it that determines what it signifies to her. I had a girl sleep over (it was cold and very late) who gave me LMR and wouldn't have sex, in the morning we didn't have sex (she had to work early), but next time she came over she was down like a kitten. I treated her the same way as other girls throughout.
Women take their cue off your reactions. If you're just doing it to make her comfortable, and it's no big deal, she'll likely see it the same way, and appreciate it as such.
I believe it's more important to show warmth and consideration to a woman when its no effort to you, rather than follow strict rules. It's investment, and actions that require dedicating time or resources, that I think need to be strategically managed.

Ya I had something similar happen. A girl came back to my place and would not change her mind to sleep with me. I played it off cool and she slept over and hit me up a couple of days later.

Still persist, but not showing resistance/rejection as a big deal will create comfort with her.

I always send them home afterwards, unless we've gotten comfortable to the point where I'd be ok leaving her alone in my place while I'm gone. But if we both pass out after sex at 2am that's fine, not going to wake her up to throw her out that'd be rude.
