It's the principle: in the moment she feel a certain way. Like she hates you. Does not like you anymore. But as time goes on, through you showing you are not butthurt guy (moved on subcommunicated via radio silence), she will feel begin to miss the feelings you gave her previously to her hating/disliking you. We already saw this work the first time. When she contacted him 3 days after saying she was in a relationship. So we are doing same thing again. But this is only IF she was attracted to the guy in the first place. I think she is (and you do too because you think she WILL ping him in future). We will see.

And, more the "fair" is her not liking the fact that she cant control this guy like with others (make him a text orbiter).
