Hey guys,
This is not a post to argue whether routine or 'natural' game is better. They both have their merits.
In my opinion, routine game is easier to use for beginners while 'natural' game (i.e. no routine) takes a little longer to develop and requires experience to build up your intuition.
They can both work pretty well, once you master seduction as a skill set.
When I first got started, I came across GC and some other seduction coaches, mainly James Marshall, John cooper, Liam Mcrae, Steve Jabba who teach principle based seduction with no canned lines and focus more on being in the moment and respond to the girl. I don't recall Chase focus a lot on routines as well.
So I have never tried out any routine stuff (except for some canned openers) , and recently received an email from Chase recommended another PUA Glenn Pearce's book SameDayLay.
After watching his video promotion, I was very compelled to buy his stuff since it seemed legit and Chase strongly recommended it, but being a poor student with little money to spare, I also don't want to pay money for stuff that I probably already know, So I have to do a little research to know more about him game before I spent my next week's grocery money to buy his book.
To my surprise, he teaches mainly routines and lines, and in his blog he argues that the only way to sharpen your skill is to learn these routines and learning this routines give you a great framework in understanding what women like and what work then eventually you will intuitively figure out things that are witty at a drop of a dime. So essentially, he's saying you need to understand the principles behind the routine and lines. So I guess you can think of routines as 'training wheels'.
I'm curious how you guys started your journey.
Did you start out with routines or 'natural' game? Feel free to share your experience.
