So I recently met a girl on tinder and went on two dates. When I proposed a third, she just said she was busy, but DID NOT offer an alternate time. This made me feel like she was just not interested. However, as a last ditch attempt, I messaged her a few days later, to which she responded enthusiastically for a meeting friday.
However, she messaged me the day before to see if I might be free that night. Lo and behold I was out of town so I told her it wasn’t possible. Come today, she basically cancels on me two hours before the date with this text:
“Sorry I am not feeling that well today, I just want to relax at home…”
I just respond with,
“No problem hope you feel better”
right after she then texts me:
“Did you have a long day today?”
At this point, I know that her interest levels are probably shot and not worth trying but I was gonna try to give her the whole “Ball in your court” spiel a day or two after this.
However, by her texting the whole “Did you have a long day”, I am not sure if I should respond briefly to this text or just to ignore it until I give the whole “Ball in your court” thing.
Should I just respond shortly like “Not too busy today” before disengaging until a few days after? What would your thoughts be?
