I need your help

Hey guys. I need a little community help.

I have my pickup memoir on Amazon. For some reason, out of over 80 great reviews, many 5 star reviews, Amazon has decided to highlight the worst one. It's not even a fan, or someone into pickup. Just some jerk who got my book during a free promotion. It's hurt my sales.

All I need is for a few people (like you) to go and press "Helpful" on any other review but that one. I'm hoping that will boost a different review to the top.

It's the review by the "Top 500 Reviewer".

I mean, the jerk says he didn't even finish the book.

So if you sort the reviews by "Most recent" then you can make one of the newer reviews more applicable.

From what I see here, It has 'top reviews'.

With many 4-5 star. It has other 4-5 star reviews though. Just the top one is a 3. Not sure if it's a bug or just recent

Exactly. There are newer, better reviews. But this one gets labeled a "Top" review.

Marked some reviews as helpful but not sure if that pushes out that bad review though. Maybe Amazon lets you appeal the review?

No, there's no option to appeal. Maybe I just need more reviews. I think it has something to do with his status as an Amazon Top 500 reviewer.

I marked a bunch of other posts as helpful,but idk. When the reviews are shown I don't see that on top. I had to click the one star reviews to even see the one you were talking about specifically. Idk if it's because you're the owner and you see it differently on your page since it's your book

I marked 3 five star reviews as helpful. Didn't want to do too many on case it thought I was trying to scam the system.

I think the Amazon algorithm automatically puts a bad review up especially if something has a lot of good reviews to show potential problems to the buyer. I marked helpful to all of the good comments but I think that review will be in the Top 5.

When I want to buy a headset, with 4.5 starts the 1-2 reviews I see are bad experiences. I just think it's Amazon's automated way of cautioning people.

I marked one of the best reviews as helpful. I didn't want to get flagged as someone trying to fix the outcome, and hoped others here also pitched in. Glad to see it improved your rating.

BTW, I have read the book and it is a great story for new guys to see what one PUA went through on his journey.
