If you meet a girl on a dating app, how far in advance should you schedule a date

Had a girl agree to the idea of a smoothie date this morning...but when should I propose the time? I work a 9-5 job and she is a college student so that may pose so slight scheduling issues. I don't want to go too far in advance because because then she may lose interest, but I also think tonight is probably too soon, so tomorrow at the earliest. I have also heard that you shouldn't act as though your weekends are free because then girls will think that you don't have much social life so I was thinking maybe thursday eveningish..what do you guys think?

Edit: I don't know how busy she is

@hater58 dude! Definitely schedule within a week. I find anything over a week usually doesn't happen. You're perfectly fine to be free tonight if she is and if you're planning early in the week and she only has the weekend if you're genuinely free meet. I had a date on a Saturday afternoon with a girl I met on a Thursday. She was free and offered the day, I was genuinely free and met... it was worth it.

Ask her when she's free, if she says tonight it's a positive sign she wants to meet. If she says tomorrow do that. Don't over think it, whenever it's convenient you meet her.

I am with @Fluxcapacitor on this. Withing a week is the sweet spot. I can't recall a single time when the date was scheduled for more and it did happen. It doesn't even happen with girls from the extended social circles so you imagine on dating app.

So this is how the conversation went:

Me-" How about x on y st tomorrow at 4:00"

Her-"Do we cuddle after?"

Me-"Honestly, as soon as you prove you're not a serial killer, I'm cuddling"

bad response give that she hasn't responded at this point. What should I try to say now to try to rectify things.

Was thinking "Oh shit did I mess things up with that last message" what do you think?

She is the only cute girl I have matched with online recently or maybe even ever and I am all upset about messing it up and I need to try to rectify it

Ummm...4-6 hours?

Seriously....Messaged "green eyes" at lunch, met her at 6 pm after work that night and F-ed her in the parking lot after dark. There is a lay report out there on that one.

Had another I met for coffee at 11 while her kids were at school. Like 30 minute lead time.

Oh and another I called on my way travelling through her town. She met me at the airport and entertained me until I had to leave for my flight...

Basically you put forth that you are a busy man with limited openings. Most students have class in the mornings and Labs in evenings Midday is often a slack time for a coffee date.

Don't propose Friday or Saturday night. Those are "hunting times"

Meeting random girls is hard. If you don’t have some kind of status or clout in their minds, they will play all kinds of games.
She didn’t respond to the serial killer comment because you have no status to her.

First work on making her think you’re special. If she thinks you’re special you’ll be able to bang away for months

don’t get upset over those little things, that’s the definition of oneitis
