Hi lads, this has been discussed 30248 times, but let's do it again, because there are 100 theories om this.

I am in Brazil, girls here are warm-blooded and very open minded ;)

So I met this girl, got number, texted her later like "keep my number" then, 2 days later she texted me first and hinted she is off.
Honestly I messed up a little there because I did set up a date but I was working so I told her to meet the next day "after lunch. Text me when you are leaving home to come here and we set up a place" with no clear time, so the next day, the day we were to meet she didn't text me after lunch (how surprising duh..) anyways, I waited till 7pm and texted her to meet after dinner, she replied then and so we met and made out. It was a sweet date.

Now, after the date she didnt text me, I didn't text either, like I already had to text her on the date day when she didn't text me after lunch, even though the arrangement was her to text me "after lunch" (moron lol) so as you see, I started chasing there a bit (on the date day), but ended up meeting her. So now I didn't text her after the date to not look like a nice guy chasing her. The day after the date she didn't text me either, I kept silent too. Today is day +2 after the date.

So now what, do I text or just keep it tight and wait for het to text me?

And in general, should you be the one to text the girl after the date? I used to do it first, but man that is so "gentleman" and chasy.. I never do it now, like I already set everything up etc, so if she likes me then she will text fist. And I had many cases when I would stay silent and she would text me like after week to meet, so silence and patience DO WROK WITH WOMEN.

Opinions?

I always text a girl after a date to see if she got home OK. Sometimes I send a message like "text me when you get home" so the investment is more balanced, but generally, as long as your text is focused on making sure she's safe and rounding off the date, and not chasing for the next date or complimenting her, I think it's perfectly OK. It's like an icebreaker for transitioning back to text from face to face.

At this point, I'd just start a new conversation thread about something random/funny and go from there.

I see, so you wouldn't keep waiting for her to text first. Well it is true that the longer the silence after the date, the lower the chances of meeting again, so I guess at some point there is not much to lose even if I text her first.

Thanks for the advice!

I mean just don't be needy, offer something, a conversation starter or whatever, imagine if this was your first text after the icebreaker. But also try to reconnect her with the best parts of the date as the conversation goes on with teases etc.

Leading her isn't about competing, it's about making sure she enjoys being led. Part of that is getting her investment, and part of that is also laying down a little investment of your own and knowing how to turn it into a lot of investment from her.

don't read too much into a makeout means nothing these days, is a sign that she's attracted but that doesn't mean it can lead further because sometimes a girl is validating herself by using you as the vehicle. decent looking dude kissing her, boom she's gone. but yeah try to meet immediately, no waiting for 24 hrs or longer, try calling her or texting right after if you guys had a good interaction, helps cement the connection better

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

after date you can say "please text me when you get home to make sure you got home safe" option #1 and ideal....

option 2: "thanks for coming out, that was fun"

also some pings to feel temperature and you don't look chasey/needy
