I've never been into playing or watching sports, preferred playing video games online.

However, one of the central themes on Girlschase is that women want sexy, dominate, strong, and powerful men. Someone who doesn't play sports doesn't seem to come across and strong and powerful in my head?

So basically, do you guys play sports, are you any good? Do you guys think that men who don't play it are weak?

Is it something I need to learn in order to become more of a man?

Currently, I lift weights... I stopped playing football (soccer) since I was like 14 years... I don't think it affects your masculinity!

PS: I still watch football (soccer)... but I don't play it anymore.

Sport is good, it is movement, activity, life... Our ancestors lived in nature, they moved around most of the day. They ate healthier diet (in a sense that no chemicals added, no processed food,...). Modern society created lots of sedentary jobs, we became lazy. We drive everywhere with cars, we don't walk anymore, we don't run... We play games, we watch porn, we are getting fat and lazy... We drink sodas overloaded with sugar or chemicals…. We eat processed food full of salt, and chemicals that cause cancer... We don't eat conservatively, we eat like pigs...

Sure, if you are 20 you don't care, your organism is naturally full of life, full of hormones. Look around how many fat kids you see, and it is getting worse. I grew up on another country, I'm far away from being the skinnies guy around, but what I see here in US is just disgusting. Once you get to 40's, 50's and 60's, all of this will accumulates. You might get different diseases, you might have diabetes and heart problems, you will feel weak and depressed, you will be lucky if you don't get cancer....

Why? Because you are consuming of all the garbage that they call food, because you don't move, because you don't care about your health. Ok, you are 20 or so, at your best age while you are the strongest... Can you do 10 pull ups nonstop? How about 20? Can you do 10-20 squats with the same pounds you weigh on your back? Can you bench 200 pounds couple of times? Can you run 1 mile without stopping? 2 miles? Can you swim 70-80 feet underwater without drowning? Actually, can you swim at all? Can you climb up to 7-8 floors without really gasping for breath? If you can you are good. If not, well, no comment.

When you exercise your brain will get more oxygen, you will think better. Your heart will be healthier. You will be skinnier, more muscular. Muscles burn fat. You will have higher level of testosterone and adrenaline. You will feel better.

Do girls prefer healthier, skinnier, more fit and muscular guys? Sure, they do. But why do it for girls? Do it for yourself, do it for your Life...

I've seen plenty of men clean up with women who haven't touched a ball in their life. These less athletic guys benefit from the position that most sports aren't co-ed, so instead of spending all their high school days hanging around boys from the team (like I did) they are out there doing social activities. They may not benefit from having physical dominance, but they sure as hell have mental dominance.

As for me, I was very much into sports from a very young age. I never went more than a few weeks without playing a sport as a kid, and when high school came around I was very involved in soccer and track. It helped develop my natural leadership abilities, motor skills, and body - which all help with women - but I think spending time trying to seduce women is a much better way to get better with them ;).

I'm probably going to push any kids of mine to try gymnastics, dance, and track, since those take the best of both worlds in my opinion.

Right now I mostly lift weights and play volleyball; can't help but constantly involve myself in some type of sport because I like being physically dominant.

I don't play any sports either but I do a few weight lifting, swimming (kinda water sports) and I might add a few future water sports in the future when I'm finally financially independent. I will be adding scuba diving, surfing, and the one that is pretty ballsy and that is sky diving, this are more than enough to get girls get impress if they see you do this things. I enjoy this types of sports than common like basketball, football, etc.

What I think is important that sports helps you develop, is teamwork, ideally with other dominant men, working towards a common goal.

It might even be something left over from the way we adapted as cavemen in tribes. Jack Donovan talks about it in his book, The Way of Men.

Instead of sports (I did play soccer, but wasn't so good) I was in bands. As a musician in a band, you want to further your band with the best music possible while reaching the most people (in your target audience) as possible. There are many many ways to do this and as a team, you often have more power and networking potentials than being alone. Usually you find one of the members takes over as leader naturally and everyone else falls in line. I have been in bands where I was the leader, but most often I am second man. I just am too happy-go-lucky to really take the road by storm, but do well refining ideas and maintaining order within the group. At the moment in my current band, my bass player has by far become the most dominant and capable leader of any band I have been in. He is a fucking machine. I am learning a lot from him just being around him and seeing how he handles things. I trust him because I have spent 2 months on the road with this guy and he is always on top of things.

Any type of team would be a valuable learning experience. Especially teams with less rigid hierarchy than a job so the leader comes out naturally.

Sports teams, bands, dance crews, even group projects at school are examples where you can learn valuable teamwork lessons.
