So, this 23yr blonde, blue-eyed girl reached out to me first on a dating site. Said she just joined that day and liked my profile, I happened to be browsing the site at the time and responded, she was up for meeting last night or tonight so I obviously went for the same night meeting. Turns out she's a model, but more bikini/fit modeling than high fashion modeling. She is of mixed English/French heritage and has a classic French nose which is unfortunate but everything else looks good to me. A couple minor tattoos, ears pierced.
Our convo is flowing smoothly, even though I am a little thrown off because the bar we are at has 3 levels but 2 are closed tonight, so unfortunately we're packed in at the bar although we do get seats quickly. Unfortunately, the garage she picked closes at 1030, and she has to be at work at 7am. I was going to bounce us to another bar/restaurant and I need to eat, but she says let's just stay here and she doesn't need food, but I order an app for myself and she gets a tiny pizza. So another brick in my time distortion model doesn't get laid [foreshadowing]. We talk a little about our families, she comes from a very large family of 10+ kids [!]and says she's one of the oldest.
Kate then says how young men anywhere her age are 'un-dateable idiots' which I can confirm having been 23 myself any years ago. She rejoined this site after 4 years, and is looking to be with an older man who has his shit together. I don't get any sort of mercenary vibe from her like you do with some girls. I can tell she's been very honest about herself tonight and she says she appreciates my honesty that I'm not looking for anything serious. My guess is she plans to move into NYC or LA if her modeling career continues to improve, she mentions some brands just reach out to her directly for gigs on IG, but all her shoots have been east coast so far. Her outfit is from a well-known young women's brand that they probably gave to her after a shoot to wear on her IG acc't.
One thing I think I did well is a gambit on the difference btw 'classic' beauty and sex appeal. I brought up an ex-gf from many years ago, and transitioned into talking about Sydney Sweeney who is sexier than she is classically beautiful, even though she has both aspects obviously. Kate was really into the discussion.
I pay the check and we head to her garage, I say I'll walk her there and she replies 'I knew you would offer,' she doesn't take my hand at first but I grab hers and pull her closer to me. Good thing because her heel hits a hole in the sidewalk or something and she would have face-planted otherwise. We make plans to meet again early next week, but in the suburbs so she doesn't have to drive as far, maybe 15 mins instead of an hour. I agree it's good to vary dates from great places in the city to more casual yet fun places in the suburbs. Says she's free maybe 1-2x a week and I tell her once a week is generally perfect for me.
Kate gives the ticket to the parking valet, and there is another customer there, so we have a quick makeout before her car arrives. I tell her to text me when she gets home and she does a minute after I arrive so I text her back, tell her we had great chemistry and she agrees.
Where I failed: I should have sexualized the conversation further, brought up kink like I usually do, and I was thrown off by the logistics going bad after I arrived. I also should have moved us to bar #2 after our first drinks were done, it's not far but as she was settled in at the bar I didn't want to force it. Needless to say this will be fixed next time, we'll meet a little early and with 90 mins less drive time I should be able to score or get invited over at a minimum. We'll see.
