Whenever a girl would not react to my icebreaker text, I never, not once, found myself closing her afterwards. Rather, further attempts of communication would often result in a block.
At certain points, due to the attempts being a waste (and bad for my mental wellbeing), I had made it a rule to end the story at an unanswered icebreaker.
The other times, although I had followed what’s outlined in
What to Do When a Girl Doesn’t Text Back, my experience went contrary to the idea of "her putting pressure on herself" or a potentially recoverable "state-shift".
So, what’s true?
They're both true, because low interest girls are always low probability. Sometimes a method works, sometimes it doesn't, usually it doesn't. If you have a lot of girls in the pipeline, it doesn't hurt. Most guys don't, and trying to recover old leads occupies too much of their mental bandwidth, in my opinion. Guys should focus on new chicks, always. Not "near misses" and low interest chicks.
Old School "solution"
The old school solution to low probability/low interest girls is not really a solution, imo
Back in the day, we figured out that when we left messages on
answering machines and they didn't call back - the move was not to call her again, period, end of story. Moving forward, never settle for a phone #. If a chick offers a number, keep it moving.
And if a man was no longer trying to get phone #'s, he was not trying to meet her now, time bridge, and set up a date for later. So no more dates.
That lead to same night lay, or nothing at all.
I think a lot of guys had my experience. If I wasn't planning to see the broad in the future, I did not have to give a fuck talking to her in the present. So more of my personality would get unleashed.
Paradoxically as a rookie, that made me more attractive, because my lack of filter (CALIBRATED! I WASN'T SPOUTING OFF MISOGYNISTIC HATEFUL STUFF LIKE GUYS DO THESE DAYS) - made the experiences more engaging, and the chick more into me. Which spiraled into more hook ups, and experiences where SHE wanted to talk to me, so any number exchange was more powerful.
These Days
The standard operating procedure is meet, instadate if possible, and then grab the phone number, text later. With the focus on day game, Same Day Lays are possible, just not nearly as common as Same Night Lays.
The tweaks to the SOP.
- Voice call/face time instead of text.
- Get the phone # and add her to social media - so that she can see more of you, and sell herself on being with you
- Luke and the Lifestyle Game was really big on this. A lot of the more contemporary PUAs/players basically showcase their lives. Imo, the best at it right now are Fresh and Fit - as cringe as they might be. The "Miami" lifestyle is a great move.
And the style of texts these days are split between
- Minimal Text - Logistics only
- Advertising style Texts - Peak interest, engage, ask for schedule, then ask for date.
- mass texting a bunch of chicks in a such way where it's not a group text, the same stuff, and see what bites
So I would try that advertising style text sequence if you're hellbent on reviving old leads. But I think that same energy is better spent investing in yourself or pursuing new chicks.
