Thoughts on Humor?

So one thing I've questioned recently is how humor can translate really differently depending on the scenario. Most of my experience with girls has come from using dating apps (especially Hinge), which has allowed me to somewhat select for more intelligent girls. Generally when I meet up with these girls I have them laughing a lot. My personality is very humorous with constant jokes but also very dry and witty, so it doesn't translate for everyone.

At the same time, I've noticed that I never get the same reception from lesser educated girls or whenever I'm in a bigger group. They don't seem to be as keen to laughing at the jokes, which I figure may be that they don't understand them. So I'm curious, how would y'all describe your humor and do you vary it depending on the scenario?

Humor is a great asset, but can be a massive trap when it comes to seduction.

Yes, you should make her laugh. But you should also give her other emotions as well, and if it's all jokes all the time, you look like a jester, not like an attractive guy.

I also don't think that you don't need humor to seduce.

I'm a natural comedian, but I learned to use it like a sniper, and not like a machine gun. And you also need to mind the audience. If you say a a joke and see that the girl is not responding to it, just drop it, or drop that type of humor. So, yes, I do vary it, depending on who I'm talking to. It's in my mind part of being a good conversationalist, just like if you're talking to someone who doesn't follow sports, for example, you wouldn't insist on talking about sports with them. Same thing for the type of humor.
