My opinion is: for an 18 years old, 27 is the maximum if looking for a relationship.

It's funny how the role reversal has been so complete in this area.

I did think about approaching someone at the shops who was a teenager in uniform[16yr old is legal], but the whole if they're in uniform I tend to avoid lol. This avoidance can also happen even if not in uniform, if teenager looking and big fear what if you approach, and find out they are legally too young then what? From the outside it looks really bad. Legal age of consent is what you get when you try to over simplify reality into a simple rule that should work for everyone but it just doesn’t.

As a society, you don’t want women giving birth too soon… most girls at 13 despite being able to go through labor are not yet physically nor mentally ready to have a baby.
Risk of death and malnourishment is real… so that should be discouraged.
At the same time, you have older unadapted loser guys who might take advantage of their naivety and knock them up only to abandon them or end up being terrible fathers (since they are terrible men to begin with)… so law wants to discourage it from happening.

However, although such things happen, a much more common occurrence is a teen girl (13-17) having sex with a teen boy… and while not as bad, that is something that you don’t want to either promote nor discourage. So it gets more complex.

The fact is you can’t put an age number and expect everyone to be mature enough to make all their decisions and act like adults.
In my experience, 18 years old are pretty immature and prone to make stupid decisions, yet they get to vote.
Between 14 and 17 is just terrible odds… and at the same time, it is the age where everybody wants to be fucking around.
You can’t control nature, I guess. But lawyers sure are trying.

Personally I prefer women in the 22-25 age range.

I was going to post something regarding this topic but noticed this thread was recently updated.

Recently, I had crossed paths a few times with a woman who I've bantered and teased with.

The other day, she mentioned she had finals coming up and revealed that she was 19, going on 20 (I'm 36, btw).

She went on to say something that she was smart for her age and that I was younger than her parents by like 20+ years or so. I'm not sure if that was qualifying or whatever.

As for the age itself, I don't see myself with someone who is exactly 18.

19-20, I don't know unless we have really good chemistry. 21+ would be the sweet spot, in my opinion.

Out of curiosity, why did you originally think this? And has this happened before on this board? I'm new to pick up forums, but not new to forums in general.
