I know it's a veeery general question and every situation is different, yet I'm sure it's a common feeling to take a look at your phone and see of this or that exchange from a very promising interaction, with a very promising text convo... and it just went nowhere for no apparent reason.
No matter if you have several sexual relationship right now, if you think about what you missed rather than what you have, then you still want to bang your head against the wall.
I know it's like that for me at least.
This is usually when I fuck it up by re-texting myself, yet without any prodding they'd die anyway.
I'll give you the two latest examples which might not be the best fit, yet are the closest in time:
1.
Very good interaction, agreed to meet on the weekend after the following in person (maybe too far away?), here's the exchange:
November 5
Pleasure meeting you earlier Erica. This is me, save my number
November 5
Noted down your number, see you soon
November 9
Hi Erica, tried to call you the other day to say hi and see what's up.
When does it work best for you to meet
2.
Another very good interaction with a blonde older mom still very attractive, here it was very obvious it was highly sex charged and she liked me and we agreed in person for following weekend as she got the kid during the week:
October 31
-Pleasure meeting you Natalie
-Me too
October 31 (she double messages me on Wassup spontaneously moving from text to Wassup)
-
-(emoticon with sunglasses)
November 3rd
Hello Natalie
How's your week
-Hey
very good thank you. And you?
What are you doing?
-Relaxing a bit. Sunday at 8, works for you?
-I can't say right now, can I tell you on Friday?
-Yes
. And try to make it
-
November 7th
-Hello Natalie.
Are you up for today
November 8th
-Hello, I was a bit busy yesterday, how are you?
....
She couldn't make it on the weekend we had flagged as a good day to try, she then replied the texts I sent but didn't act on me pushing for a day/time to meet.
The question which bugs me the most is simple:
Is it inevitable to have a near misses besides your successful interactions or for almost any near miss there's a point you didn't do things correctly?
I think an article on why good interactions with promising texts still die out would be very good, because the hotter the lead is, the more annoying it is to see it go.
