Here's the argument I have for the OF thing: women benefit and guys aren't getting what they need from it. They get a fake connection but they're not getting sex. They'll get both from a sex bot

Nah, this can be true. Esp if they can personalize it. Like a car. Reason why car guys exist and they worship that object. Thing is that they need to invest energy in it. If they can make a DIY sex doll, like the furniture from Ikea, but you have to assemble yourself, I think they could be trapped.

I wondering if this AI girlfriends can bypass biology as well.

I mean, yeah, men are very visual creature and having a personal 10 at your choice, compliant and so on might sound actually very plausible. But hormones, the lack of the "human behaviour" (implying subtle social cues, and so on), things that our body picks indirectly and also surpassing the barrier that you might have knowing that what you see is not a real person can have a word.

I mean, extrapolating, AI girlfriends might be just very advanced sex dolls. Would I fuck a sex doll? Hell, I would fuck a pillow if I m crazy horny, you all know how strong urges can get, esp if somebody s doing NoFap or something related. All those memes with porn food and so on are there for a reason.

But I doubt you can develop real emotions for it(or at least I hope). And men get feelings sometimes real fast, esp when young.

Imo the desire for a real connection will always be there, something that technology can t approach.

In the end, if we make it to that phase, I hope you ll share some good products.

i think it is also mentioned, that in the future, there will be sex robots, sex androids in the future as well.

I gave this some thought over the holidays... I think these AI girl-friends are going to be an inescapable trap for frustrated guys. They will really fall in love with these fictional creatures, I mean their pairbonds will trigger. So they will never get out of these relationships ever again. It's like a sterilization program.
