Any other Roosh forums exiles here?

I have been looking for a good forum to migrate to since Roosh turned in a bible-basher and forbade the mention of sex on his website. He was always a bit of dick, but his forums were a great place to get good information, especially worldwide travel tips. I am hoping that a lot of the other old hands are going to discover this place too. It seems that there is already a core of knowledgeable members here, and I am having fun exploring all the existing discussions.

I used to lurk there just for travel information. I found the information pretty much useless but I did make a friend in Bucharest through it.

I thought about starting a travel forum. There's definitely a niche to be found there.

I found the travel info invaluable, especially about the more remote spots. Would you be able to recommend any online forums that you felt were better?

No idea. I mean it was entertaining but when I travel, most of their advice was useless. Like "Girls here are hard, the men are xyz," or "here it's easy!" or "This city sucks." I just found that I liked what I liked, and the info other than giving my slight ideas on where to visit, was all based on personal experience and preference.

I found the travel forum useful as well. Specifically the data sheets for recommended clubs/bars they found good.

Most of the rooshvforum members migrated to swooptheworld forum. And I see they have started sharing datasheets over there as well.

Thanks Velasco, i will go check it out. The data sheets were indeed invaluable.
It was ironic that once Roosh went all religious, his new books suddenly jumped in quality. I could not understand how sis forum went to shit but the quality of his writing improved so much.

I occasionally had a peek over at the forums, it was very on and off, and my takeaway was that it is more dudes discussing game than practicing it and living it. Did notice a good amount of minorities present as well. The forum reminds me of interactions I have with older urban black dudes who hang out at bars and nightclubs spitting game advice but don't actually pull from that same nightclub. Lots of stuff about theory, politics, demographics, and largely depressing shit about how rough it is for men out there but not that much actionable advice or success stories.

The only forum I have peeked at other than this one to see dudes killing it in is the Good Looking Loser forum.

Ditto. I always got a vibe that it was mainly all just theory from the older guys, and that most of them weren't actually out approaching. The only people getting laid in the 'I just got laid'' thread, were from people who were matching with girls on tinder. OLD. They already have attraction at that point. That's why she swiped right/messaged you first. I don't find it that impressive as even guys with no game get laid on dates with girls who think they're hot, tbh. Other guys seemingly getting laid were relying on tourist game. White guys travelling to south East Asia. Again, easy mode. There's literally self-described autistic incels who are able to succeed doing that! (I've seen the youtube vids lol). I also found it interesting how roosh actually changed his mind about game over the years (went from banning people who mentioned anything about 'looks' and called it 'game denialism' to saying himself that game was something to use on girls who like the way you look. Bit of a turn-around from him)

And yeah, Goodlookingloser definitely has lots of guys absolutely crushing it with explicit proof lol. But at this point i'm still interested in 'game' and I basically got laughed off the forum for mentioning a few simple game concepts when I posted a short FR for advice way back when lol so I decided that wasn't the forum for me. They are 100% about looks over there. (get as jacked, handsome and stylish as possible. Hit on girls. Say whatever you want. Zero game theory. No rules. Just escalate hard at some point). But yeah, some of them guys have posted multiple hundreds of lays and it's hard to argue with the results

I mean , let”s be honest people are superficial in general and competition gets tougher as you want to access higher end girls , without fundamentals even though you Have the best game you still will fail big cause you will never pass the open or pass the hooking point.

I guess the correct way of seeing things is that it is not only about fundamentals , but we have to agree that they play an important role , at least at the beginning

In his last blog post he even denied that game will aid you in getting traditional girls. Rather you should turn to God. This is flat out denial and wishful thinking and literally back to square one as how a blue-pilled chode thinks. Also this guy is clearly prone to flip-flopping between extremes and black/white thinking, making him fundamentally unable to comprehend and deal with the actual world in an effective way.

Focusing only on fundamentals is also a kind of game denialism. Yes, there are guys that have gotten hundreds of lays from this, but they would do it in shorter time, under worse circumstances and get better quality with more game.

I’m not sure where the gll guys are gaming, but I do know in an area and venue where it’s mostly dudes, with a few girls, where only a quarter of those girls are actually pretty, and they are all getting hit on at every angle - looking good and playing the numbers game (which is the bare minimum in my book) simply won’t cut it.

“Hey what’s up. You looked pretty good I wanted to say hey” becomes another dude trying to fuck her, high bitch shield.

The transition from direct to indirect and situational openers, as well as the emphasis on smarter verbal game, I think happens from this realization that at certain times being strait forward just doesn’t cut it. When a girl has so many options, merely getting her attention becomes the challenge

I do think though that playing the numbers game is a viable strategy at times, and I do think it is a form of game that deserves some respect because it’s not easy hitting on tons of chicks in one night than settling for a fat ass; this is personally not what I and most people on this forum want however. I think “noob game” is a good word for it

Last night I went out, and there were really only two girls worth approaching; one of them got taken by a guy I knew (I should have went in ASAP damn) and then the other one, her friend, I approached with “why are you wearing these big boots at a club?” after which I couldn’t think of anything else to say and left the convo. I kinda screwed myself there lol. That was it.

I guess it depends where are you going , me personally I do not do Night game anymore as It is very difficult for me to have energy after gym , work , reading , social things , etc so I do mostly day game while doing other things that I wanted to do like shopping , walking through the park , grabbing a coffee , eating brunch etc and when you do this you are not limited to a lot of factors that you are limited during night game .

Plus what i like about day game is that is not as intense as the night one . Sometimes it goes to an instant date , but most of the times you meet up with another occasion which makes me more focused on the date itself

Plus my experience with night game is not the best as in the morning you would just see the cute girl from last night to actually have a horse face and her body is not as great as you thought and your bed looks like a painting from all her makeup . But again this is my experience , it does not mean that others do not have way better results than me

roosh v forum is seemingly deleted now - its a shame another forum has declined - i think that leaves just skilled seducer and so sauve forum as the only men's self development forums left now.

Roosh seemed pretty impulsive to convert to christianity - maybe the death of his sister lost his self confidence and self belief or the media ridicule got to him - who knows.
