It's better to stand out from the crowd of 21-25 yr old boys, and let's face it, they are boys compared to 35-50 yr old men. And we have seen hot, younger women prefer older, successful men since forever, I'm not rewriting the history books here.

Now, maybe they prefer to marry someone closer in age but that's not what I'm talking about. There's just no way I've been slaying the past decade+ as an older man with intermediate game because I'm some sort of magical unicorn. It's the way most of them are hardwired.

Somewhere along the Venusian ether this idea of the ""young girl / older guy" cope came in and everyone swallowed the Lolita bandwagon. However, IME these cases are the EXCEPTION and not the rule. Is no accident, most girls feel a high degree of "social comfort" (as it used to be called back in the day) and social acceptability dating guys a few years older than them (6-8 years) ie a more favorable social perception v/s a massive age gap. The issue I have in your examples is whether the 18 yr old women KNOWS pre-sex AND pre-3-lays (ie pre-investment) that you're ACTUALLY 38? Or no? Just lol! One of my natural buddies (fall into your def'n of ""older guy"") in the big city almost exclusively does OG (online game). He lives in one of those cities where Tinder just works really well. I've seen his lays / results (as in beyond reasonable doubt). He showed me a snapshot of a couple of 18 yr olds he was trying to get out and initially I was a bit impressed knowing his age (but I didn't know about the hide your age feature since I don't do OG) and I thought: ""Wtf?!" then I saw on his profile he had that ""hide the age" premium feature so then I was like ". I think @DonGately and @Skills aren’t really arguing, they are agreeing.

Note that DG said 30% prefer an older guy (more than 10 years older than her) - that’s about 1/3 of the total. So it’s not the majority.

I was recently at a social event and a not that attractive/average-looking girl asked me my age and guessed late twenties and when I said I was in my mid-thirties she became all shocked that I was 12 years older than her. This isn’t a girl I would care much to fuck either way though.
