It says on this article, if a girl really likes you, she plays hard to get to try and get commitment out of you.

But on Hector’s video, it says if shes playing hard to get, she sees you as low value or feeing insecure.

How do you know when shes playing hard to get out of either?

Depends on when she's playing hard to get.

If for example, it's after you've been giving off strong player vibes, then she's playing hard to get because she doesn't want to seem too easy. The solution is to build comfort with her to balance the attraction.

If for example, it's before you've demonstrated any attractive traits about you, then she's playing hard to get because you don't match the stereotype of the type of guy she's used to dating. The solution here is to spike her emotions (cold read/tease/self amuse/disqualify) mixed in with getting investment from her. So that she can see that although you don't LOOK like the kind of guy she usually goes for, you ARE that guy.

the only issue is that a girl could play hard to get RIGHT away if she perceives you as high value. This is usually due to either:
- Good looks
- Social proof
- High social momentum

If any of those are the case, you can assume she is playing hard to get because of being into you.

If you do not have any of those or very little of those (think dead night where you do not have that "modjo"), then you can assume she is playing hard to get because she perceives you below her value.
