I was out yesterday night for the first time in ages. I was standing at the bar by myself sipping a beer, and there was this mixed group of 4 girls 2 guys approximately standing next to me that looked a bit dorky but one of the girls caught my eye. She was quite attractive.

At one point some of the members of that group started doing a funny dance, I was enjoying the show and grinning a bit when the attractive girl bumped into me (she had her back to me at that point). She turned around to apologize, which would have been a good opportunity to say something to her but I couldn't come up with anything in the moment. I was thinking of asking her what kind of dance are they doing (which would have been kind of lame) or where they are from, but being half drunk already and caught by surprise, I just smiled at her which was probably lame also.

I could have easily touched her shoulders or back when she apologized for some quick touch/comfort without it being awkward, but I'm still not sure what I could have said? Ideally it would be a short and concise comment since it was a place with loud music. Also she seemed foreign so there may have been a language barrier additionally.

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

The old Swinggcat line is "I hope you have a really good lawyer!"

I like acting mock-offended, e.g.: "Sheesh, what, are you trying to knock me over? You think you own the place, huh? Is your name on the sign outside?"

@Skills's example from that lay report is really good too.
