It is more of a general question than a specific girl. I have a cut-off for asking a girl out. I usually ask 3 times before I move on. But here is the problem, some girls think I will stay forever, so when I move on- they were not expecting that- they get surprised. They are not confident enough to ask me out, again. Plus they are afraid I might turn their invitation down. It's more like they want me to ask them a fourth time but since I have a cut off I will never do a fourth time. I want to prevent this from happening.
So I am thinking of using some kind of warning like " Strike #2 , we have only 3 strikes haha". Some version of this to convey " yeah, I will not be around forever". I used it and it worked 50% of the time.
On the other side, it might not land well with some girls. They might be thinking "oh, he is warning me, then fuck off."
I do not know what is the right way. In summary, what I want to achieve is to let the girl know this will be the last time to ask her out. I would really appreciate if the replies stick to the issue at hand.
Thanks,
RN
