...what's a good reply?

Context:
This is a girl that used to be working at a cafeteria I frequent. We've always had good vibes, sharing laughs and teasing each other a bit. Nothing serious, I know she has (or at least used to have, when she was still working there) a boyfriend. So just some regular pleasant banter.

She stopped working there a year or so ago, and I haven't seen her in a while. Today she showed up while I was there having a coffee. When I recognized her, I got up, gave her a long hug, and we chatted for a while. Asked her what she was doing now and she says she's studying. I asked what she studies, and she said she's going to be a policewoman.

Now I didn't expect that answer, so I was genuinely impressed. I have a university degree myself and my last LTR was with an MD, so there's probably few answers to the question "what are you studying" that could genuinely have impressed me... but in this case, hers did. (Especially considering I only ever knew this girl as this silly and cute waitress).

So my reaction was "Wow! How scary!" in a kind of teasing, but also genuinely impressed way. I then said "I hope you don't catch me!" and she was like "Yeah I'm gonna catch you on your bike!" to which I laughed. Should have said "No way, I'm way too fast for you, you can't catch me" but didn't come up with it in the moment. Hindsight is 20/20 :)

Which got me thinking, what's a good way to respond to girls saying they're police / are going to be police? Supposing you want to seduce her. In which case, saying "how scary" probably isn't the best frame.

Instead of "I hope you don't catch me" try "I dunno if you'd be able to catch me".

Any continuation that implies her chasing and you running from her in a not serious way. Preferably with some mention of handcuffs, a dark alley, and a comparison of your relative physical strengths. Sprinkled in amongst genuine deep diving about her motivations and ambitions for it.

Be careful about overdoing it, it's just another job, the important thing is to seduce.

Mann keep it simple. “a police officer? wow.. wasn’t expecting that. what’s led you to that decision?”

No need for fancy flirt lines and witticisms if it doesn’t come naturally.

Deep dive, qualify, escalate compliance, close.

You did great. I was going to say something similar to what you said. At this point, youre just overthinking it. Youre way past attraction at this point, you dont need a cocky/funny answer to everything.

If youre genuinely impressed, use it to qualify her!! Im sure she will feel great knowing that youre impressed with her and dont see her as waitress girl anymore.

Just wanna say here, given the context (basically a daygame approach) I'd definitely keep it normal, I was more so mentioning here what I'd do on a date when I'm wanting to get her warmed up sexually to come home with me.

You definitely don't want to go mentioning handcuffs during an approach! Unless it's night game or something and she's basically ready to go.
