So today I was at my favorite cafe. I meet lots of interesting people here. Mostly cool ambitious men working, exactly the kind of people I want in a new social circle I'm building.
Sometimes there are cute girls, but none that really caught my eye to make anything happen yet.
However the barista today, I decided, looked too good to pass up.
I made some small talk to her before, but whatever she was wearing that day was not flattering. Today she had on yoga pants lol.
Anyway, I was there with my girlfriend. She definitely saw us together, as well as me chatting with the people I know there, including my hot friend and her cool BF. All good social proof and preselection.
We had a short flirty moment, but I was mindful of being there with my GF. I personally think I'm playing it too safe. My GF encourages this behavior, and I do it discreetly anyway (my GF at that moment was no where near).
On the next high note I have with the barista I'd like to ask her out, but I'm wondering how I'd handle her bringing up my GF. "Don't you have a GF" or "Who was that girl you were with?" I think would throw me off. I'm not sure of how to answer it.
I also really like this cafe, and want to play it safe-ish. But I think asking her out isn't a big deal either, as long as I handle the GF question.
