Hi All,

So this is almost a classic.

I saw this really hot girl on the beach and went to talk to her. The conversation went really well, actually a bit too well, we spoke for like 1h+
I know this is too long, but when I tried to leave she wouldn't let me lol. Then she was about to leave and asked me what I was gotta do (I wanted to stay a bit longer to talk other girls) so I said I would stick around and she was like "oh ok then I'll stay with you a bit longer" I was like damn lol..
Then she said she had plans for that afternoon, so I didn't want to self invite to hers or something, which was a shame because there was a lot of chemistry, I guess sex that same day would have been the best, but there was this issue. Anyways we exchanged numbers and left. Later I texted her like "hi keep my numver" she replied very enthusiastic and we stayed like this, no more texts that day.

I texted her 2 days after (monday) to set up the date. We exchanged a few messages and when I asked when she was free she stopped replying. She only replied next day (tuesday) and gave me 2 options, thursday (which is today) and friday. I said cool lets do thursday, is after dinner ok for you?

no reply on tuesday, nothing wednesday and thursday is pretty much now.

So how to go here? just wait for her to say whatever? or text her again today (thursday?) Like texting her again is so not what I feel like doing, it seems kinda needy. I mean she gave me 2 options (good sign) I selected one and she just disappeared. She is the one who has to confirm this now.

What would you guys do? Stay put, or text her again?

Best.

Yeah thanks for the links, I already read all this years ago ;)

So what you lads thin is the best thing to do here? We didn't speak since tuesday when she ghosted me, should I reengage during the weekend? should i just say nothing, if she says something great if she doesn't, bye? Wait till monday to not reengage on weekend or something?

Like it's been a week since we met, attraction has an expiry date and this one is going sour...

Next her and meet more women? :)

Best

What are your texts like? Sounds too much time spent in the first interaction followed by poor framing over the phone.

If a girl texts you a day late with a response to a logistical question, I think it's not very good to reply with logistics stuff right away. I try to treat each day as having its own introduction, middle and ending. So I'll text something front-loaded with a greeting and something about my day or what I'm doing even if she just sends me an answer to my question from the day before. Otherwise, if something was making her hesitate, me jumping on her reply is going to send her running.

It sounds like you immediately went to set up the date after her very late reply, which is showing a very large imbalance of investment and focus on the outcome.

As far as trying to salvage something, it's not often that such things are possible, but what works best for me is to simply cut the previous thread and start a new conversation, as if it were my first text after the icebreaker, preferably reminding her of something about us and/or our interaction in a positive way without asking for anything.

I see the point but on the other hand if she replies about logistics why should I reply about something else? This can lead to endless texts with no outcome.

Anyways will text her if she doesn't reply, next.

Not up to me to think what goes on her mind anyways.

I always keep my texting very short and straight to the point. 99% of impression of me is obtained in person. My texting is exclusively for logistics.

You can combine them in one text, have a text starting off with a greeting or a fun conversation thread and then wrap up with an reply to the logistics issue as if it's an afterthought.
