For people who've done pickup, did any of you spend any time at all Meditating? Is it worth doing 2 mins a day, did it improve your health and make you calmer? After going out approaching, reviewing what I did, going to the gym and eating right. Is it worth spending a min or 2 meditating? I don't really like it but I'll be willing to give it a go if it actually improves my life?

Yes meditating will definetly help you and make things easier. It won't make all your internal issues and low self esteem go away permanently, but if done right it will help you clear your mind so you can relax and be more stable mentally. This will allow you to do the things that you want to accomplish.

Meditation is something that I haven't done much of recently out of lazyness. It's one of those things that you have to consciously force yourself to do at first because our ego likes to look for someone to blame for our problems even when we can solve most of them on our own.

Also meditation isn't something you do for just a minute or two otherwise it would just be like daydreaming. You should aim for 15-20 minutes minimum in one session. Practice some self affirmations that you wanna believe and instill and then go out and work towards making those beliefs a reality so it doesn't feel like you're lying to yourself or making stuff up.

Yes. My game really sky rocketed when I started meditating 40 minutes a day in 2010. It made a HUGE difference.

Sleazy said the same, if you're familiar with him, he was a legend back then. He actually developed an M.O. he called "God Mode" by accidentally going into meditation one night just before arriving at the clubs. That's when his craziest LRs started happening.

Start with a minute or two if you can't do more yet, but work your way up to 20 minutes a day minimum. Once you're comfortable with that, I do recommend increasing to 40-60 minutes.

Yes, I think everyone should do it.

For game specifically, it can help you get out of your head. That will help with confidence and approaching, as well as becoming more aware of subtle communication cues (learn how to speak womanese).

You should challenge yourself with meditation. Find that sweet spot of what you can commit to daily that still feels like you’re pushing a bit. Just like at the gym, you don’t lift out of your league, and yet the work is in the resistance.

2 mins if that’s all you can handle for a daily habit, but don’t stay there if it’s too easy.

the benefits of meditation make a long long list, not just good for game.

I don’t consider myself advanced or a beginner per say. But if you’re anything like me your mind has the inclination to be focused yet leaning on obsessive. I tend to tenaciously obsess over my goals and “over practice”. There was no such thing as rest for me because my mind was always on full throttle. Even when I slept i’m dreaming about my goals. I get sloppy and uncreative, predictable, robotic, when I achieve it isn’t satisfactory (because I want more), but when I lose it’s detrimental.

This lead me to the realization that your mind is a muscle like anything else, and though practice makes perfect, rest equals growth. Since you go to the gym you probably know that when you’re resting is when your muscles are growing. Even if you lift every second of every day you won’t get any bigger without rest. The “soreness” of working out your mind with challenges, will lead to relatively simple things being strenuous. Thus meditating allows your mind to rest and recuperate, alleviating that soreness.

Rest your mind so that it may grow and become stronger.

I started taking seduction seriously over the summer and one of the things I remember most in helping me improve as a beginner was meditating.
For me, it mainly helped with state control and being unshakeable. Both are crucial to getting lays, but also with rocking at life.

After a certain point, it helped me de-clog my mind, and realize where my priorities are. It's crazy what kind of illusions you can find yourself in when you head isn't clear.

So yes, 10/10 recommend meditation for beginner, advanced, pua or incel, it doesn't matter who you are.

Transcendental Meditation, yes. But it takes years to develop the ability to fully disassociate yourself from your active consciousness, which is the point at which the most fruitful spiritual gains can be had while meditating.

I've personally known people who meditated for decades before they reached a state of enlightenment, but once they did, it was a life-changing experience for them.

@Jasonbourneyo,

I think you've already got plenty of replies in the strongly affirmative here, but I'll throw my hat in the ring too.

I was meditating before I got into pickup. It was crucial in helping me beat depression, and some of the lessons from meditation were what helped me realize I could approach meeting women as a skill instead of being stuck in place forever.

I have a primer on it here that you may find helpful:

I think some people can live more presently than others- meditation helps everyone but I feel I don’t need it nearly as much as others do. Perhaps I’m more impulsive and present oriented than the average person.

But to answer your question: it will only help, definitely not hurt

I meditate 20 minutes 5 times a week, and especially right before heading out. It is part of my routine. It really affects your state and overall vibe in field.

I follow a system that I learned from Ross jeffries:

- 5 minutes focusing on breathing (focus on inbreath, outbreath, phase between in breath and outbreath, and phase between the outbreath and inbreath)
- 5 minutes of holding your focus for 5 seconds on each touch-sensation you feel... what ever sensation you feel on your body (tension, itching, fresh air... whatever..) hold your attention for 5 seconds, then switch to the next touch sensation... wherever it is...
- then 5 minutes where you focus on the sensation of your bottom sitting on something and keep the focus there for 5 minutes (hard, which is the goal, since you are training yourself to keep the focus)

You can make it 3x10 if you like.

Good exercise
