I meditate 20 minutes 5 times a week, and especially right before heading out. It is part of my routine. It really affects your state and overall vibe in field.
I follow a system that I learned from Ross jeffries:
- 5 minutes focusing on breathing (focus on inbreath, outbreath, phase between in breath and outbreath, and phase between the outbreath and inbreath)
- 5 minutes of holding your focus for 5 seconds on each touch-sensation you feel... what ever sensation you feel on your body (tension, itching, fresh air... whatever..) hold your attention for 5 seconds, then switch to the next touch sensation... wherever it is...
- then 5 minutes where you focus on the sensation of your bottom sitting on something and keep the focus there for 5 minutes (hard, which is the goal, since you are training yourself to keep the focus)
You can make it 3x10 if you like.
